08-21-05, The Debut of JUSTIFICATION, This brutal act rises from the ashes of the WV based metal acts ANGER WITHIN, and FORCE FED HATE. Formed this year, Morgantown's own JUSTIFICATION is a straight forward/no frills/in your face/"pile-on, sing-along" style of modern hardcore. Don't let the fact that the band is 3/4ths Anger Within fool you! The band blends older "New York" styled hardcore, with 80's thrash metal. This gives a band a unique sound, which separates them from all the wannabe hardcore bands out there, who easily fall into "mallcore," or the "fashion metal" category. Vocalist Wulf states: "There's alot of so-called metalcore bands out there." "They look hardcore, they act hardcore, but I don't hear much actual hardcore in their music." Combine their musical style with a live show full of energy, and intensity...and you've got the makings of a band who will soon be side by side with the "big boys" of heavy music. Anxious to get the ball rolling, the band decided to record a song called "Your Failure" from their live rehearsal. Though only recorded through two tracks, the recording gives the listener a pretty good idea of where the band is coming from. Armed with an arsenal of lyrics that contain political and social commentary...the band hopes to take no prisoners! Expect a professional 3-4 song demo by the beginning of August, and their live debut, at the end of August.
